Luck sometimes does come in streaks, but typically by staying in the same game. I think you all know about the guy up here in MD. that hit a straight P4 one night for $5K then spent $100 on another single P4 the next day and hit it straight! Bada bing $500K! + the $4,900 from the night before. I get on losing streaks more often than winning streaks but when I hit heavy, I play a little heavier for a day or two to tempt fate on the perceived start of a streak.

The $500 he won was found money, so how is turning it around on more lottery tickest any different than blowing it on something else? If he plays a couple of bucks a day on numbers he'll spend about $700 a year and he can expect to winback $500 every year and a half. Using that $500 to play PB or MM when it's really high is a better strategy than spending $5 on each draw regardless of what the jackpot is. I love hearing stories like these! (people cashing in tickets like that) Gives me hope that maybe I can do the same thing, although not as often I'm sure. Maybe I need to hang out in the store a lot more. Makes you wonder just how often these people hit like that.

I wouldn't throw away most of my money won just to play MM. I might throw $20 at the MM.

I think if I hit Pick 3 for $500 and MM were this high, I would do the same thing. Play big....250-400 dollars on Mega Millions, and keep the rest as a little bonus.

I spoke to a guy in Fancy Gap, VA years ago who did that because he bought $20 straight on a number in VA and WV and they both hit. So, he was cashing his tickets whenever he felt the need.

He was a whiz at hitting the pick 3 in VA and WV and I know because he showed me some tickets!! He wouldn't tell you what he was playing or when either. Would only show the tickets after they hit.

This one guy won $500 turned around played 4850 n cash 4 20 times, bought 20 of those $20 dollar tickets played all d triples , each one 20 times. Long story short, he ended up spending all of it then had 2 put more money with it.

U either dumb or stupid to throw away money like that!! Come to find out, the guy got plenty of money so it didn't bother him one bit
