I love how Powerball plays their game. That is a good feature to put excess money into

the 2nd place prizes. In my opinion Powerball is the best lottery game in the US

I think it's a good thing. Not that it comes into play all that often anyway. But it proved to be a very nice bonus of around $800,000 last time (on top of the regular amount won) for the match 5+0 crowd.

Don't really care, as long as I win one of the amounts. The jackpot is already high enough that it does not matter.

The MUSL claims part of the reason they do this is so they don't take away records from themselves. However, they overlooked the fact that if they don't, Mega Millions will.

I am FOR it as long as it only applies to record jackpot levels.. I would not want the 25M increase limit to be on all drawings, and I like the idea that a 5 of 6 PB could be a better play than a similar Cash-5. The downside is that if you want to ever see a 500M Powerball this will not help. Maybe the Side Pool should also apply to lower prizes i.e. $5 for a BB-only match or for 2 #s a free play.

When PowerBall's jackpot gets to a record level, it only increases by $25M, and the rest goes into a side pool for 5+0 winners. I don't really care either way, but I am interested in others' opinion of it.
