Thats cool. Good for them. I'll just be sick if it was the office pool at my job that I found out about after it closed. One pool had 58 people, and the other had around 30. If they won, they will get around $1.2 mill each after taxes for the bigger pool and about twice that for the smaller pool.

Oh man i'll be hot if it was the pool at my job.

I don't know if this counts as official information or not, but the highway billboards in our area that show the Mega Millions jackpot have now changed from $370 million to $12 million. I fear our jackpot has been won by someone.

My guess is the Mega Millions site is down because everyone on the east coast is waking up and now is desperately trying to find out if there were any winners and they are overloaded!!!! Even our great site of Lottery Post last night had some problems due to the heavy traffic (nothing neagtive aimed at you Todd) just the shear amount of traffic can overwhelm the system.

From what I have seen, Ohio's computer went down at 10:25 last night, and they have said it may be later today before they know anything. That's in the Detroit news from an AP report. I am SO ANXIOUS

the 2000 network was diff network

it was a big test for it

am sure it rolled

but if there any software, network data error's

then good lord.....................

I work the nightshift and I watched the local news. They said that the mega million officials can't be sure if anyone won!! Tell me, do you smell CHEATING?? I can't remember this ever happening before at least not up to 7 hours later. This is crazy.

Although each state only reports THEIR winners, and I want the truth, no matter what, I DO REMEMBER that the bottom line [Illinois lottery payout page] stating the NEW 12 million in the past when there was a winner, or nothing. I do not follow EVERY drawing, but many, and so I agree with barbos as to it is PROBABLE that it SEEMS there is a rollover. Where is there a report on a winner, besides the NJ retailer ticket

I'm a retailer in NJ and my printout from 11:36 pm says that someone here had all 5 numbers and the mega ball number and selected the cash option for 221 million. I hope it was my store, my odds are 1 in roughly 6,000 (total number of retailers in the state).

Illinois is not aware yet of any winners in other states. They don't have access to that information. It is assuming it will be 470 million on Friday because that is what the lady who did the drawing on TV from NYC said it would be. They will update that bottom line on Wednesday.
