I agree with using Firefox. I used to use IE7 but had many problems, not with this site but others like Pogo and AOL AIM 6.0. IE7 wouldn't let my java work and I didn't know how to fix it. My mom told me she had the same problems with Pogo site and to download Firefox. I have had no problems with it and I like the way it looks.

I had some problems once in a while when I was on dialup, but not just with LP. I use IE 7 and Netscape 8.1 once in a while. IMHO the internet isn't designed any more for a slow connection, but it depends on what you want to do with it. I'm the first one to admit that a 53.3 connection was just fine with me, and I didn't want to switch or pay the extra fee. I liked paying under $7 a month for service. So Lp does not longer support IE6 SP2? I couldn't upgrade it to the latest version (7) because the PC i use for internei have installed Win2K and Win2K doesn't support IE7, so in case the issue has something to do with IE6 i'll move to Firefox.

four4me, The PC i use to get access to the internet could not be the most modern PC on earth but still godd enough to deal with a site like LP, actually with any sort of website in the internet, i don't know where did you get that you need AT LEAsT 1 Gig of memory to view many of the websites, but that's TOTALLY FALSE!, (unless you are playing online games that requieres a lot of memory RAM, but a video game doesn't count as a website). Hey jarasan, very good advices! Indeed that was the first things i did.

And as i said in a post above i had indeed a virus but the virus wasn't the problem actually nor the cache, firewall/antivirus, pop-up blocker were causing interference, i still don't know what the heck it is but since there seems to be i'm already able to make posts again then i assume all is ok now. (i really hope so

Ok, i'm finally back after had had to format my PC thanks to the infamous Virus (Worm) Bagle.

Now, first off, i want to say that this thread isn't a complaint at this GREAT site at all but rather a kind of bug report... A bug that seem to be still there.

I'm Pretty good with computers too, i already checked everything in my PC that could be causing the interference with LP (turn off firewall and Antivirus among other things i did) and nothing made the problem gone, in fact things are worst... [ More ]

I've found that if I click the refresh button on the home page and the pm box is empty, the light goes off. Try it and see.

Lottery post is one of the best websites I have been to

I use Firefox browser (I very rarely use IE 6 or 7)

I visit Lottery post on DSL and Dialup with no problems.

You may want to try logging in from another location

And try a better browser.

You can run both IE 7 and Firefox on the same machine.

I do with no problems.

Or even Opera browser.

Both Firefox and Opera are FREE.

That is not a problem with Lottery Post. It is the way Firefox handles fixed-layout tables. IE7 (and 6) hides the overflow text, and Firefox runs it into the new cell. That's just the way it is, and there is nothing bad or at fault . It is wide info, and there is limited space.

If you want the hidden behavior use IE7. If you want overflow behavior use Firefox.

Todd, with Firefox I have problem with YESTERDAYS WINNERS page.

All entries for KENO (long entries) do not wrap and text goes to the right messing with next column. It becomes not readable.

Entries like MM wrap OK (Mega Ball info is in the next line).

Firefox works great with Lottery Post, and is one of the three browsers I recommend (the others being IE7 and Safari). In fact, it works better and faster than IE, due to all the JavaScript used (Firefox is faster at processing most JavaScript code).

Firefox is also slightly less glitchy than IE7 with presenting properly formatted pages (fewer CSS bugs).

The problem is on your PC. Maybe you have firewall difficulty -- they lie at the heart of most troubles.

I had a problem right around 1:00 couldn't respond to the post....got an error then it cleared up.....

Todd does alot for this post. and just to think some us get all this information and we don't pay into it...which I am going to sign up for platiumn....

I'm pretty good with computers. I use firefox to view this site. I never use IE unless I have to and I use Opera every now and then. Its not my bandwidth, its probably an issue with firefox dealing with this site.

Lottery Post has absolutely nothing to do with the performance of your PC. Speaking from experience here i had an older PC that no matter what i did i had trouble using many features on lottery post. this wasn't lottery post problems it was my PC which was out dated had a slow processor an old version of windows and phone connection.

So i bought a new PC and everything is great you need at least 1 gig of memory to view many websites which have special features especially if you stay on line a... [ More ]

Mental telepathy works great thanks to a free WiFi zone helps as well. I can usually tell when I am getting a brain overload. My eye lids start blinking rapidly. However, I have found that if I go into sleep mode for a breif period of time, most of the problems tend to clear up quickly and before I know it, I am back where I started with no idea of what's going on as usual.

Clear your cache. Delete history. Set as trusted site. Make sure you are virus free and your virus or pop-up blocker is not messing with the URL etc.. This site is extremely fast, with the exception of authentication it takes about 3 secs. Everything else is very fast, I am on Verizon 1.5Mbs. service. Win2k IE6. LOL jarasan

No problems here... all is GREAT, ALL of the time. LP shouldn't take up much bandwidth at all. Computer or ISP problems maybe? I don't have anything fancy, just Roadrunner and a middle of the road HP desktop.

I hope you get your problems resolved. Nothing more frustrating than not getting online to check numbers.

It's amazing.... we depends on computers these days almost as much as we depend on our cars.

Today it was really an ORDEAL to just send a simple pm and try to post some messages here in the forums, each time i click the send message button instead of send the message the classic IE browser's white page show ups saying the server cannot be found or that the page cannnot be displayed

Am i the only one experiencing this or there are more people with this problem?

I hope this issue can be fixed ASAP.
