consider yourself lucky. I try to get quickpicks that will spin off from my numbers. Never works. I think the computers generate a spinoff somewhere else than my state. I never get anything that remotely resembles my numbers.

Thanks for the info. I just played $3 on the Win For Life game. The first 2 plays, I chose the numbers. The 3rd play, I did a quick pick. My quick pick had 4 of the 6 numbers that were on my first play! Unbelievable!!!!!!! I think I will spread them out or put them as my first couple of plays.

Thanks again for the replies

Repeated numbers are not necessarily a bad thing. It's a game where numbers are chosen at random. Each set has just as much chance of happening as another. Being so, it doesn't really matter where you put the quick picks.

Well, I just looked at my QP PB tickets and compared them to my number pool that I used on my picked tickets. I purchased 10 selected tickets first, then 10 qp. The first 5 lines of the qp immediatley follwing my selected numbers had almost 3 of my selected numbers mixed on every line. The second 5 of those QP's only had an average of 1 of my numbers in each line.

I suspect the next 5 would most likely had just 1 or none of my selected numbers on each line. I'll try that theory out... [ More ]

According to what I have read in the past, quick picks are generated by an algorithm in the machine that uses previously selected numbers as seeds and the current time to generate random numbers. So basically, what numbers you select before will affect the quick picks you play after.

Here is what I do when I play numbers.

If I play 3 sets of numbers selected by me, I put the first set of my selected numbers on line 1(or A in some states). I let line 2 be quick picks and I keep on alte... [ More ]

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forums and I am sure this question has been asked a million times. On a Mega Millions playslip, let's say you picked three sets of numbers, where would you place your quick picks? First, last or somewhere in between? I look forward to your responses. BTW, I have noticed that if I make the last two plays quick picks, I get alot of repeated numbers from what I personally picked.

Dawn
