Maybe $150 bucks in the last 10 years. I used to rarely play. And I lost $100 of it at once during 1998 or 1999 when the Big Game Jackpot was really big. When I realized that my 100 tickets only made me like $10 bucks, I stopped playing for a good while after that. Only playing like $5 bucks once in a blue moon. Now I only play like $5-10 a week based on how high the jackpot is.

I have won a small amount too. But overall, I am ahead by about $300 because of a $350 and a $75 buck jackpot... [ More ]

I think there probably are some people who keep a record of wins and losses. However, that would be too depressing for me! That said, someone who keeps such good accounting records is probably careful about his investments and how he spends his money, so he would never throw it away on the lottery! LOL

Unless someone is a relatively brand new player or an extremely meticulous record keeper, I don't see how they could possibly track all their losses, lifetime.

Oh - do you mean how much money have you lost since I began playing the lottery?

I've been betting on the lottery for about 30 years so I try not to add it up, to tell you the truth. Right now I average around $10-$12 a week, give or take a few bucks, but never less than $8.

The Jackpot Games seem to be the biggest drain on the Lottery Budget, but the Pick-3 & Pick-4 Games seem to balance it out with frequent Wins.

I guesstimate that I have lost approx 2500 in all games since playing

I am in my second year playing

Pick 3 has made me the most money

Closest to a jackpot win was a 4 out of 5 in Little Lotto 5/39

If I combine online and instate.. I have lost nothing...

However, if you look at individual games.. such as pick 5, pick 6 then there you will find an overall loss.

Scratch offs.... very little.. I just do that once in a full moon as a laugh.
