guesser, I can sooooooooooo sympathize (wish there was a spell check on here) with you. ALL numbers are not created equal and the powerball statistics page will back that up. For instance, when was the last time powerball 42 or 36 came out as opposed to say 14. And I dont think pb 5 has been out since the middle of last year. Thats a lot draws ago. You will never understand my strategy, I don't even know why I post anything.

And don't start with 'all numbers are equal', because in a sense they are, but they are not. If they were all 100% equal, we would not even be here, and the lottery would not even bother to give us a choice to pick our own mumbers. There are folks that don't hit a 3x5 all year, and there are folks that hit a 3x5 nearly every drawing.

Out of 55 numbers they only pick 5, so each numbers has only a 9% chance of being drawn and a 91% chance of not being drawn. They're all longshots.

Oregon again, on a large pot to boot. I got nothing. At this point, I am not surprised anymore. Just disappointed. I knew a winner was coming. Also knew it wasn't going to be me. I didn't have a clue about last night's numbers. It didn't help, I guess, that I was fighting with my hubby all day. Oh, well, back to the drawing board.
