lol COINTOSS...that's cleaver poetry. The tough part about using real lottery balls in a dryer is you have to do it in one of those heavy duty laundromat ones. Use the simple home dryer, it dents and damages the drum. Now Cointoss, if we could throw in that yellow lottery ball suit you're wearing...we could have a bonus draw. lol

Wintariofan said I have my own set of real lottery balls that I use. Seriously, they were given to me about 5 years ago from friends at OLG. Rarely, do I use them, since I don't have a $90,000 lottery machine and wouldn't want to ruin them. But , I have gone to the laundry room after hours in my building and done a draw in the huge dryers. Low heat cycles, don't want rubber burning. It was like the real thing. LOL :) I now use that one selection I picked for each Lotto 649 draw.... [ More ]

Thats too funny! I like quick picks myself. I heard once that computer generated quick picks are so accurate (or close) because they are drawn from the database history based on that state. So if your lottery has been around long enough to have say 20 or 30 years worth of history, then the quick pick is based on the trends over that period of time. Many, many times my QP's are two of the three numbers that come out either that draw or within a few draws. This is what I've heard, but it sort of m... [ More ]

Switching stores isn't going to change anything. A quick pick is exactly that, a quick pick. If you really really want to increase your odds(by a lot too), learn C++ and make your own software. Visual Basic would be easier to learn, and you can improve your odds with it as well, but if you're looking to improve your odds by millions and millions, then you want code that will execute very fast. Some of my filters require so much speed, I had to convert my program to C++ because my VB program woul... [ More ]

You can pick 'em out of a jar, or use a deck of cards. As good as anything.

As to LP QPs, it so happens that for fun for the last two months, I had the LP RNG generate 150 QPs for me. Then, using only last-digit-sums (i.e. 24 and 14 are both 4 ) I took the first five of each sum, put them on a sheet. I just followed them in my state only. (wasn't betting them, just having fun) In February, for the month, it hit 12 boxes and 5 straights. I then did the same thing again for March. So far, a... [ More ]

Well notwithstanding the statistical data, it is obvious from the recent winners of the record Mega Millions jackpot and the recent Powerball winners from Oregon, Iowa, Minnesota, Arizona, and Wisconsin that the state computer generated QPs is the way to go. From hence forth, I shall play 3 QPs for every own pick so as to increase my chances of winning the jackpot. What ratio do you play...

On the Powerball website FAQ's they have a question about Quick Picks, and the answer is 70 -80% of all ticket sales are QP's, and 70-80% of sinners are QP's.

As it says on the site, See anything there? (or something like that).

Think about this- only a quick pick issued by the lottery with QP after the numbers is going to be cinsidered a quick pick - so if you have some other means you use to pick numbers, but fill those numbers in on a playslip, statistically, that is not a quick pick... [ More ]
