Periodically, we read short News stories here on the Post and elsewhere, that focus on how a lottery win has changed someone and their family's life.

An expanded version of a news clip detailing rags to riches, I'd read. But it also depends on the mood that I'm in and how much time I'd have to devote to it.

I've thought about writing one but......oh......, right, I haven't won one yet!!

I'd have to say no. Having read a book on a big video poker winner, I would say most of these kinds of books have an arrogance about them that I don't like. A lot of times the changes in their lives aren't for the better.

I'd read it if it were in audiobook format lol! I dunno why but I just prefer audiobooks. Don't get me wrong though, my reading and comprehension skills are among mensa calibur (lol!) but I just prefer those audiobooks. I guess its because they make the book feel like a movie.

I say why not :) Perhaps that person is well versed in english and other areas of creative thinking. Nothing wrong in sharing ones story.

Beats some of the pictures only magazines that are on shelves .

It's difficult enough remaining anonymous and keeping one's privacy after winning a jackpot. Anyway, if that's what you're asking, then NO

I am more interested in reading a book about playing the lottery, winning my own jackpot and changing my own life. If I want a friend, I'll get a dog. If I want a nice warm feeling, I'll grab a blanket. Ophra-style feel-good books are generally pretty useless. A waste of valuable paper and ink. Save a tree and ignore these clap trap tomes.
