As you can see from the people here that 10x powerplay pays for itself.

I thought when the 10x powerplay hits within that month, it stops.

I am working on a system to powerplay all my lines. I guess I will start on April 4th.

I don't usually play Powerplay because I would rather spend the extra $1 on another line of numbers. However, it is really hard to pass up a 10x powerplay. Well anywho, I'm in Mobile, AL (far from any powerball state) so I'm not going to play this time. Good luck to you guys who do play.

... hey, thanks GameGirl ... will play those numbers, can't be any worse than what I've been playing. I've only just recently (March) started putting the extra dollar on Powerball ... I never really hit much on the game and I figured I saved some money .... I always figured if I were going to go $2.00, I'd rather have two $1.00 tickets or another set of numbers. ... however, I decided to try the powerplay for a few months .... fortune cookie numbers: 5 18 23 36 42 11 (use the 11 as the PB number) Lets see how that plays out for April! Cant hurt to try it!

Sometimes I play the numbers in reverse though just to be different: example: 1 , 12,46,33,28, PB 15

Our group rarely does powerup but I think we can handle the promo for one month. Will help when its split four ways with a 10x play!

10X sure does make that $2 million tempting. But I get tired of throwing away $1 tickets, let alone doubling that amount.

Thanks for the info...

I intend to play every draw during the promotional period.

I know the Jackpot is realistically too hard to hit, but I like going for the lower tier prizes .

With the multiplier feature, and when the 10x is in play....so much the better !

Can you just imagine hitting 5 white balls with the 10x and pocketing a cool $ 2 million ( no annuity ) ???

Given that this past time ONLY one state had a second tier winner I'd say that PB can make out well with the 10x play.

I do like the 10x play but even on a good day I havent been able to get two numbers on the same line...

Thanks for the anouncement though, Its good to see them promoting this again! I did enjoy some of the winners stories from last time.

and who covers the bill if there 10x and a ton of 5 out of 6 winners

the JACKPOT share's thats who covering it.

however 10x on just matching the powerball =30 bucks NICE!

that be nice for the omfg i matched won 1 number and got 30 bucks!

also does the added dollar in price 2bucks go to,

share to jackpot get its like 30% of the added dollar in cost

in short, does buying 2 tickets for 2 bucks give the jackpot 60 or so cents

or doing paying 2 bucks for jsut 1 with powerplay... [ More ]

I saw it on the North Dakota and Montana websites. I think it starts April 4. I'm sure we'll be hearing more about it soon.
