The number being used here is the Golden Ratio represent by the Greek letter j and is an irrational constant like p, e and g. j = ( 1 + 5 ) / 2

j 1.6180339887... - Golden Ratio

p 3.1415926535... - Circle Ratio

e 2.7182818284... - Natural Logarithm

g 0.5772156649... - Euler's Constant

This is in reference to your previous post under Red Toad, I have made an Excel program based upon the method you have provided. See attached snapshot of the computation. Since I'm here in texas I generated the numbers from 1-54 patterned after the Texas Lotto as an example only.

e.g. previous draw you provided = 3 16 18 24 31 36

next draw result = 4 7 8 22 29 47

What's your feedback on this?

It is akin to saying that the last draw was 846 and that the winning draw to come next will be 437:

And that all he had to do to get the number was:

8 to 4 = God down 4 digits.

4 to 3 = Go down 1 digit. And:

6 to 7 = Go down 1 digit.

But that is after the fact, that is after the number came out, before it comes out, you would not know how many digits to go up and or down per position.

I made the comments not the post. If you want to know where RedToad/ToadBlue got his figures, you'll have to ask him. It made no sense to me too why he wanted someone to write a computer program to do what appeared to be simple math but he never explained.

Here is my secret.

To nite's drawing was 4, 7, 8, 22, 29, 47.

So the last drawing of 3, 16, 18, 24, 31, 36--multiplied by 1.618 and devided by 1.618 we get:

4.85, 25.89, 29.12, 38.83, 50.1, 58.25

1.85, 9.88, 11.12, 14.83, 19.16, 22.25

Companion numbers are 1, 3, 5, 24.

So here it is:-

4===4.85=5=5-1==5

7===9.88=10=10-3==7

8===4.85=5=5+3==8

22===22.25==22

29===29.12==29

47===50.... [ More ]

But whatever language you write in, it must run on windows 2000.
