You can play all the numbers you can afford as long as you don't hold up any other customers waiting to play more than 15 minutes in most states. Also if you're playing pick3 or pick4 some states limit the number of times you can play the same numbers such that a $1M payout limit is not exceeded. Some retailers may also set additional limits so they can take care of their other customers too.
