Thank you, Pumpi, for the information.

That is a very old link, but I found the current WV Lottery site. Looks as if the largest prize won has been $25,000. Not bad, but I hope when I finally win a jackpot, I get back the money I've invested and more!

We have enough games here, so I rarely track the games in other states. If I lived closer to the GA border I might play MM or some of the GA games once in a while, but it's much too far.

When I study a game, I just look at the odds shown on the web site. To me, they really tell the story. Of course pick-3 is always going to be the game to play with the least amount of combinations. However, I don't think any lottery games are easy, just some have more possible combinations, giving the player a less likely shot at winning with an equal amount of tickets. The less combinations possible, the better chances of winning. The more tickets you buy, your chance of winning increases... [ More ]

Well, if you're just playing Quick Picks, the Pick 6/25 technically is harder than the Pick 5/20 + 1/11. However, when applying a system, and comparing those 2 different types of games with the jackpot odds only being separated by a few thousand, the Pick 6 game could end up being the easier one in the long run. The reason for this is simply because of the fact the Pick 6 game is one pool of numbers whereas the Pick 5+1 game is 2 pools of numbers. The fact alone that the person using a system is... [ More ]
