According to the lotteries all the winning numbers are picked randomly and have the same chance of coming up every drawing so there aren't any hot or cold numbers as far as they are concerned, if they offered hot picks they would be suggesting something different. If a player thinks some numbers are hotter than others or some are over due to come up then he has the option of filling out a play-slip and playing those numbers. No, definitely not. Many people would not play the hot numbers, but many would play them. Suppose the hot numbers did hit... a bigger jackpot split many ways is not much of a jackpot. Plus there would be many smaller prizes hit and the commission paying out a ton of money just for those smaller prizes. That's IF those hot numbers hit.

The whole idea is to win, but it's a business. I think they'd lose money.

No. Say they did,would YOU play them? How many of us would? Haha,if anything,we'd play everything BUT their listed hot numbers. Who would assume the lottery would give us the right ones? They don't want us to win,right? Feels like it sometimes,anyway.

Pumpi in a sense of the word hot picks they do in a round about way when you click on statistics in the mega million or powerball windows they give you a list of the most drawn numbers this is very similar to free lotto hot picks.

the only difference is free lotto provides it in one click and mega million and powerball you have to do some ground work.

I agree with Bobp about the complications.

I first saw this on a free lottery website....It had three options you could choose your numbers...YOu had: quick picks , you had choose your own numbers and you had hot picks ....Guys i don't mean displaying a website with what's hot and what's cold numbers..I mean selecting the hot numbers or more frequently played numbers for that particular month , wheeling them and offering them to the public as a hot pick option...The hot picks would be less combinations than the quick pick for quic...
