5 of 5 1 in 142,506

4 of 5 1 in 1,140

3 of 5 1 in 47.5

The jackpot was a constant $200,000 and the prizes for 3 and 4 out of 5 varied. There was no payoff for 2 out of 5.

The odds on a 5 / 30 game against hitting 5 for 5 are somewhere in the 40:000 : 1 range.

Add 9 numbers and for a 5 / 39 game they are 575, 757 : 1.

Sounds like the kind of game another LP member was hoping someone would come up with in her state but she wanted the top prize to be worth a million$ dollars. As I explained to her when a game has odds of 1:150K or better of a jackpot winner and lower tier prizes too there's always going to be a winner before the jackpot rolls up a big amount. Either a game is going to have lots of winners and small jackpots or lots of losers and big jackpots, PB and MM are the latter.

1 player won the $41,000. It appears that the listed amount ($30,000) is what you actually get after taxes. I wish they would be that honest with powerball. As if the numbers are not big enough.

I never figured people would be so lucky with this game, or more accurately, I did not know so many people would play. It is nice to see a quality game like this do well. I just hope it does not give the Lottery any ideas about switching the evening drawings to computers.

That average win of $30,000 is a little off so far. It has been won every day for awhile now. It barely ever goes past $20,000 except when it first started. I was hoping it would roll to a large amount so it would be worth it to play, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. The mix and match also is not even making it to a $100,000 hardly ever, but has more potential to grow being it is a $2.00 game.

Wisconsin has a 5/31 matrix.....and is a lot closer to home then Pa. It also starts at 10,000 and rolls over.

It is called Badger5....but I think that they should change the name to Cheesy5 or cheese5.

We had 5/30 in IL some time ago (like before March 2002), but now it is 5/39...

I do not remember the jackpot amount though...

Anyway, 5/30 sounds nice. I would play it.
