I'm thinking the name of the member who wrote winhunter was Mark and I haven't seen any of his post for a long time.

I write programs in GWBasic and compile them with a QuickBASIC compiler, I have Visual Basic 6 but I never took the time to learn it. As long as Window comes with a command windows and DOS programs can be started from the Desktop I won't have to learn.

I have a lottery program that I've worked on over the years but the best I've done is a 5/6 a few years back in Ohio SuperL... [ More ]

I write programs that run on Windows, if I know what the method is of the system I can write a program for it. I had a 5 of 5 a few years ago with a program written in QuickBASIC at the time before VS .net came along.

What ever happened to the guy that wrote winhunter? He used to post at LP hoping other members would help develop that program into a winner. I guess nobody was interesting in working on someone else's program.

i've used winhunter also at sourceforge, but it has a steep learning curve

there are about 12 hits for lottery on http://sourceforge.net

including winhunter.

For some reason I can't get the website to load, but try looking on freshmeat.net for any new programs for lottery picks. It is a site where folks can post new programs they are working on or for others to contribute to the development.

What is the name of the program that you found and if it is open source FreeWare you can post a link to it and or to the site where it is at, but the name is enough if Google can find it for me.

There is a program called WinHunter that it is said to be open source, use Google to find it with, I don't think that it is what you are looking for, but it might be.

If you understand the computer language it's written in then you can modify or adjust its variables and routines to fit your needs. The trouble with open source software is it has no value to the person that doesn't understand the computer language it's written in.

Hi all,

I am looking for open source lottery programs. I found one but it is a 6/49 program which will do me no good here in Texas. I am especially interested in 5 number programs.
