The first time I looked at the file it was missing some of the headers. The numbers were all there, but nothing to tell what some of them meant. That's because I hadn't installed Word on this machine, so the program opened in Wordpad. I use wordpad for about 98% of my word processing, but it won't handle some of the formatting that may be included in a Word document. If anyone has any trouble, save it like RJ says, but open it with Word if you have a copy.

That's o.k. I got 'em figured out....

I'm not seeing much that helps me, ...so in a way it helps me, because I might forget they even existed,

It's o.k. to know they're, there somewhere though.

Thank you Jarasan..its just something I wanted to tinker with a little while and see if I can see anything..I couldnt see them on my computer..found out the window that pops up is some kind of microsoft office works window..or something like that..hell I hate computers..lol

You're OK, don't worry. I personally think there should be MORE discussion publicly about pre-test data. It should not be hidden -- as if the lottery can FORCE the pre-tests to do something different.

By shining a bright light on pre-test data, interested players could help nudge the states into providing the pre-test data openly on their web sites, rather than keeping the data hidden -- like most states do.

Your computer must works differently than mine, I'm running WindowsXP. When I click the red ball the File Download box pops up with three options Open , Save and Cancel . Run is not an option.

yeah I clicked on run and it opened up..but then another box opened also..when I tried to click it off the whole pre-test file just disappeared..lol..I just want to look at them a little while and do some tinkering is all..lol

When the file testpb.doc comes up, if you want to save it where you can find it later click save and you can see or chose where it's being saved and you can open it later with WordPad or some other text editor.

If you just open it, it will download to a temporary file so you can read it immediately using WordPad but it will be hard to find in your temporary files and it may be deleted later automatically when your computer runs some maintenance programs.

does anyone have these..I tried to get them from the powerball website but my computer will not run it for some reason..some box opens up and I click on RUN but then another box opens up and when I click it off the whole pretest file disappears..lol..if you have those can you copy and paste those here..I will even say the magic word ..PLEASE!!!!...lol
