Yes and NO. Yes, being able to stay anominous would be a good thing. But keep in mind this crucial bit of information. The Lotteries are a State Run Institution headed up by politicians. By allowing the winners to not be known would invite corruption. How could one prove, particularly in Computerized states, that the Big Winner wasn't Joe Blow's kid or the kid of that really be political contributor.

Wouldn't it be nice to be a secret lotto winner. I have read on other lottery sights of the problems some winners have and it appears that the main cause of trouble is that thier name has become a household word from all of the publicity.

Do you think it would be better if no one, not even family knew how much they won? Sure friends and family would notice a lifestyle change and may even recieve some nice gifts but, the fact that even strangers know how much winners have won has got to l... [ More ]
