I won 20,000.00 on a 10.00 tripple cash machine at Harrahs in Metropolis. I had put a 100.00 bill in and on my third pull I was only playing 1 coin, I was lighting a cigarette and the light went off, I thought oh goody I won when I looked up to see what all three tripple cash lined up, I almost fainted.

Had I been playing two coins it would have been 50,000.00 I couldn't talk for a few minutes and scared all the slot attendants, who thought I might be having a heart attack. It was incredable.... [ More ]

They have a bank of quarter keno machines near the Keno Lounge and I put in $20 playing a 7-spot during the shift change. I played for $1, hit 6 numbers, and all three eggs broke so 980 quarters were multiplied by 10. I usually play a 7-spot because of the 3 hit payoff and more chances for at least two eggs breaking and I do change numbers or machines depending how I'm doing. A waitress suggested playing 41 - 47 and I've hit 6 out of 7 a few times without a multiplier, but 980 quarters is a nice... [ More ]

Hit a dollar 10 times pay slot at the Hard Rock in Tampa for $6000.00

Prior to that, hit a dollar 12 times pay slot at the Grand Casino Biloxi for $8500.00

These were not even the highest jackpots available on the machines.... they were symbols lined up with 2 10x and 12x symbols.

I love the multipliers....

Another Royal Rush !! Alright! Wow,you won that much on It's My Party? Fantastic! Well, at $4.00 a pop you'd better get something back for your money! It cracks me up when they call them penny games. What a grand marketing tool, making you think you're playing 1 cents but in reality it's just like the dollar machines.

Lucky first date! That's kind of how I won my jackpot,I only went to the casino with $20 that day. (wasn't really planning on going,obviously!) The third pull was the charm. It happens that way sometimes. Other days you can play for hours and not win a penny.

$2500 is a nice chunk of change

Last Fall at the Orleans in Vegas I cashed for $2400 on a Caveman Keno machine and that was sandwiched between two other nice hits I made playing Let-It-Ride. The night before I had four 7s and won $2350 playing at Main Street Station and amazingly hit another four 7s at Texas Station for $2450 the night after I hit on Caveman Keno.

Another story I can share is being on a first date with a guy and seeing him put a one dollar bill in a dollar machine and winning $1500 with his first buck!!!!! That was at Windsor Casino..........

I have to be true to my Scots-Irish roots. I won $45 playing blackjack. Promptly left the table, when down the street and bought an 1868 3-cent nickel in XF condition with it. That was in 1982 and I didn't play again the rest of the visit. Haven't been in Las Vegas since. Still have the coin. I was a winner in Las Vegas. Prefer to play Pick 3. At least I can win at that.
