I agree with all comments posted, on both sides of the argument!

My initial comment was based on something I believe the author posted about not having time or money to complete the software. That's how I arrived at my conclusion -- it's not a slam on the software author.

As one who has developed software for the majority of my time spent on this planet, I can attest to difficulties in meeting deadlines, as well as trying to manage expectations. Anyone who spends a lot of time developing... [ More ]

I know the feeling. I never release a beta of anything. I pretty much crash test the thing myself and that can be a very long process.

Awww,give the guy a break. People who develop systems run into all kinds of snags and things get delayed,believe me, I know! Perhaps his only fault was giving a specific date that is was going to be ready by. So he jumped the gun a little,that's how it goes.
