			<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#x27;m sure back when the lotteries started, but most use calculators now.  The reason being that a slide rule is a mechanical device whose numbers are calculated in an analog fashion and require interpolation by the user, two people may have the same equation but their answers may differ in the 4th or 5th place for eg.<br /><br />Calculators give digital results not subject to interpolation.  There are threads here that one can follow and will step you thru. keying steps for numbers.
