If you have your sum of 15 in cell A1

In cell B1 enter the following formula =IF(A1<10, ,LEFT(A1))

In cell C1 enter the following formula =IF(A1<10,A1,RIGHT(A1))

There are other formlas you can use.

The sums range from 0 through 27 so I'm thinking you will have single digit sums.

The B column will have the tens and the C column will have the ones .

I am trying to break down a sum but want the two numbers of the sum to be in seperate columns.

Example... 654 = sum of 15 I want to have the 1 in a seperate column and the 5 in a seperate column. is there a way of doing this?
