I started to play on my own. NH began the Sweepstakes drawings in the 60s. I was too young, but my boyfriend occasionally bought a couple of ticketswhen we drove up there. Then MA followed with The Game in the early 70s. I met someone whose family won $50,000 when it started and it changed his life. (of course that was 35 years ago!) but I didn't start playing every week until I moved to FL. I guess all the hype got to me and now I'm hooked!

Same here. I also bought GH's Lotto Book that had the numbers and you would put your numbers under hers. At that time I didn't understand the concept I like using the letters better

My first big win was from a Missouri scratch-off coz Kansas didn't have the lottery yet It was $75

My daughter was 12 at the time and the station to play was 92.3 ,i guess she had heard everyone talk about it so much that she would always say when i listen to the radio ,Is that 92.3 ?so The radio annouced the first lotto drawing on Oct 23 1993 for the pick3 game,i really didnot pay attention that particular day but my Daughter can't bugging about 92.3 and i told her i am so sick of that number but at that moment the radio announcer game on the aire and stated ,YOu wouldnot believe what the fi... when i found out tennessee was getting a lottery i started studying the missouri and georgia lottery back in 2003.i had never played a lottery or knew how any of the games went.i studied them about ten hours a day for months.by the time the pick 3 rolled around in march of 2004 i was ready.by july i had hit a number ten times for five grand that enabled me to take off work for months until my daughter was born.i have had a lot of good experiences with the lottery.....
