With today's technology, and how insecure and easy it is to break into and manipulate, someone will stumble upon it and threaten to expose it. That's when someone will come forward and come clean.

No one will say anything because there's nothing incriminating to tell. No lottery director had any ill-will when switching all drawings to RNG. And anything that might be wrong with the RNGs cannot be proven because there is no transparency with computerized drawings.

The excitement people get from watching the drawing on TV will disappear and they might lose on the bottom line by people stop buying tickets for that reason.

I had this conversation with one of the lottery reps one time and he said that the reason Oregon went to computerized draws was to save on the bottom line. The lottery decided to do away with ball draws and the money they had to spend to televise the draws. They decided it would be more cost effective to just use the computer. To me though it removes the excitement out of the drawing aspect.-weshar75

Sure there is a bad apple in every group, but I think people are just being too paranoid. To say that every computerized drawing is rigged, is rediculous to me.

They've already come forward and told us what goes on. The RNG generates a winning number that is, for all practical purposes, completely random, but once in a great while a hardware problem results in a glitch.

but, after consulting the Murphy's Law Library... They will on the exact day I crack the code for PA's Mid-Day games... then I won't get to take'em to the bank :-(... AND I'll need a new time-wasting hobby.
