Hi all

I use the curent ball set of 180 or so real numbers plus 360,000 random numbers as 5 of 55 in Ion's mdiedit.we version 4.

A s new numbers are drawn I check to see if they are a repeat of 5, most all the time they are not a repeat.

What: I'd use the entire history.

Why: If you developed something of use now, you'd likely find that it would still have some value when/if the matrix enlarged in the future. Likewise the same applies for past data. Sometimes a pattern is much easier to spot in a smaller data-set/matrix-size; then it's just a matter of scaling up.

The alternative is to scrap all your work every time another ball is added to the pool and wait a year or two for a history to build up. You can see the flaw in... [ More ]

I use the current history since the last matrix change.

that which was before is of no value.

Sometimes i only use the last 25 draws and work with the hottest digits and then add cold digits that weren't drawn and make some wheels using that data.

I keep all the history of any lottery that I have acquired since all my data files have the same structure and don't take up a large amount of space. I usually only use the latest data since the last matrix change but I alway have the older data if I want to test it,

I am currently testing my system on 2 versions of history, full and new matrix only.

I wonder if I should limit the new matrix only portion to just the last 2 places in sorted order because 54 and 55 would never be the first 3 in sorted order... or perhaps new matrix for white balls and full for PBs since the PB matrix hasn't changed in a long time...

What would you do and why
