avoid Charities and giving money to others.

Seriously if you look at what really messed up people like Edwards and Whitiker it was giving to Charities haphazardly or promising to charities haphazardly.

also wild tipping........ IE Edwards standard tip is a 1000 if you eat at resturants 100 times that 100000 right there... most people would be happy with say 20% or 30% tip from a lotto winner.. 1000 a pop is just plain stupid.

I say avoid those so called friends that you couldnt count on to help you out when you needed help. I have a little question I sort of ask myself if someone asks me for anything including cash. It is, would this person help me out. If I can answer yes, I help out. if it is questionable, I say sorry. As far as those church donations go. Yet somehow Im sure he'd come knocking at my gilded door and expect his *unfair* share.

Other thing to avoid would be poor health. Get a check up more often.

Avoid any legal battles. Avoid having your family in jeopardy from your new famed wealth.

Avoid the urge to be guilted by churchs. God didnt create churchs, man did.

The people where I've been buying my lottery ticket are sure going to miss me because I'd avoid playing any more lottery games. I like going to casinos and hitting the jackpot would mean I could go more often but would have no reason bet more and of course lose more. And besides I've never seen any table games or slot machines that pay what a lottery jackpot would.

Yeah, I guess that's why I was dreaming of a $20 mil house in CA. lol

I'm in southwest Idaho, and you can get a really decent property in McCall for that price. Maybe in Sun Valley too, but I haven't checked. There are some resort towns in Utah around the SLC area that would be cool in the summer with prices in the same range. The winter home would probably be somewhere in AZ. I've checked a couple places in central to southern parts of the state where they're going for that.

Yep, I used to dream about having a $20 million house on the coast of southern CA for the winter and a $10 million house somewhere in the mountains for summer. I dreamed of chartering a private jet to move from one to the other each season, and for all my travel needs. But I've scaled down my needs if I should win, too.

Ain't that the truth. When I first started to fantasize about winning the lottery, I said that I was going to buy a big mansion, over $ 9 million and about 3 cars. After thinking about it for 15 mi utes, I thought about: the upkeep, taxes, home insurance, theft. Now, I will be happy with a three or four-bedroom house and 2 cars.

Avoid buying mansions and limos and any other extravagances. Remember you will have to upkeep all this stuff. It could drain your jackpot over time I would imagine.
