My vote is luck. If I win any prize, it's totally my luck and randomness. However, I'm not lucky at all. The most I ever won is in 2001 with $23.

Oops. I should have specified the top payout ratios are at or above 100%.

But, as someone on another thread pointed out, some of these folks are posting 50 numbers in all states . Your view is closer to the truth.

Looking through the prediction stats, in state after state, the top 10 hot predictors in pick 3 are running near or above 100%.

And the same for the top 5, in the pick 4 games. I think that calls for more than luck.

Ok, there is one (or various) problems with this allegation. Some 'individuals' are well know for being capable of manipulation in the RNG (Random Number Generator). Inclusive the Lottery Generator or the online Casino games ...

QP...is a system!

but it's not unique, anybody can use it and its odds of winning aren't any better than picking numbers out of a bucket with your eyes closed. Most players are looking for something with better odds that works better and only they or a few other people have.

It is possible to increase your odds by millions using a good system. Sure, luck will always play a roll in winning, but a system can help a person win, when otherwise they wouldn't have.

I think a lot of people come to LP hoping someone will prove to them that's true, so far nobody has. It'll probably take a member who actually uses a system winning a lottery jackpot to convince them.

On Pick 3 and Pick 4, it's merely luck, but I don't think most people realize how much a person can improve their odds on the jackpot games using a system. It is possible to increase your odds by millions using a good system. Sure, luck will always play a roll in winning, but a system can help a person win, when otherwise they wouldn't have.

I like the time travel but there is always the paradox of time any which way you go. But luck and persistence is my guess, I guess. LP has definitely learned me some stuff, but one of my favorite cartoons is the one with the frog holding the herons throat: Don't ever give up.

Yes, very true indeed. If I could go back in time, I'd go back to the 80s, spend every dime I could find on Microsoft, Cisco and Dell, travel forward to early 2000 and sell. Then I'd take that money and purchase all the real estate in South Florida I could afford and sell in 2005. Then I'd retire! (But maybe I'd still want to win the lottery just for fun

Great idea! I actually did that once. But gasoline in the future was $30 a gallon so I ran out of gas before I could get back on time to bet my numbers.

The best answer is luck but I voted for the randomness option. Not quick picks that are spit out by their machine but a pool of selected numbers combined randomly (for the higher odds games, not the P3/4). No wheels for this caveman.
