DC6 DC and Bonus Match 5 MD. are better deals for the money, sometimes I'll play 40 lines and not a hit. What I do in that case is replay. The odds then seem to go more in your favor.

Being able to play 40 lines for $20 is very beneficial because it gives you more options on amount of numbers and the type of wheel you can use. And the payoff structure helps to keep you in the game so you'll get more chances to win the big bucks.

Lot'O Play had a $2 ticket and people didn't play it so Ohio got rid of it.

My software has routines that search/compare data files with groups of numbers and with each other and I've never found a groups of numbers that worked better then any other group so I'm looking at numbers differently to see if groups of numbers picked a certain ways before each drawing do better.

The 6/49 game is huge leap from 6/25 as well as 6/39. If MD. hadn't ruined the 6/49 game I would play it, $2.00 a play is wrong. That is why I have said before I like Ohio, the game selection is good.

Congratulations on your wins jarasan.

When comparing strategies for different games, one has to be sure that the same rules can apply. DC6 is a 6/39+1 game with overall odds of a win of 1:28 at 50 a play which means on average you're going to win something for every $14 spent, there aren't many games with those kinds of payouts or odds at the lower levels.

The above statement is true, but the key is picking the right numbers. The wheel takes care of the rest. I guess I've gotten a little luckier the past few days but I am pretty much convinced the wheels are powerful TOOLS. Today I got another 5 of 6 with bonus on DC6 I did 2 abbreviated wheels and I hit on two tickets good. I had a total of 62 lines which would have cost $31 but cost $23 cause I hit 4 X 3 of 6 last night. Tonight I got lucky again I hit for $265! So I play free for a few days.... [ More ]

There are 3003 possible combinations using 15 numbers and only one can have all 5 numbers so any reduction no matter how sophisticated it looks can eliminate that one combo. Wheels are a good way to play a large group of numbers in Pick-5 or Pick-6 games as long as you understand most of your combos can't win anything because only 5 or 6 numbers are drawn.

You really need to achieve an indepth understanding of wheeling. The type of wheel you describe trades good lotto play for fewer lines.

I've used 15 number wheels to play a Pick-5 (5/39) and found out that playing a 13 combination 3if5 wheel only gives me the guarantee because the wheel is balanced. I play 15 numbers because I don't know which 5 will hit so even if I know that 1 number will occur 6 times, 3 numbers will occur 5 times, and the other 11 have 4 occurrences, I'd still be guess... You make a good point, but I probably need a better understanding of all the different ways of picking and playing lottery numbers. It would be nice if there were skilled lottery players as in other games of chance who had developed proven strategies for winning. Every drawings is like a tournament, but I've never read anything about great lottery players. Maybe they don't exist.

I don't like wheels because $10-$20 wheels won't cover the amounts of numbers I like to play and I don't play combinations that start with high numbers or end with low numbers which most wheels have to cover their guarantees.

The Pick-3 games are popular because everyday and in some states twice a day the digits 0-9 will be drawn out of 3 machines. I can't tell you when the digits 1 or 7 will be drawn but they will eventually. And somebody must be picking combinations because I've never seen one draw where the total payout was $0.00. I've been using the most popular repeat frequency to pick the mega balls for my MegaMillions numbers. Since the matrix changed 212 drawings back I only count those drawings. Last count the most popular repeat frequencies for the bonus numbers were 11, 2, 9, 12, 8, 14 and 16, so if I wanted to limit my choices to seven numbers or less I would count back and pick the bonus numbers in those drawings but since I usually play 10-20 lines I also look at the most popular mega balls of the last 212 dr... I think sticking to a wheeling system might have the best promise of winning a jackpot in pick 5 games.

power-trails for pick three works pretty good.

Pick 4 is tough because of the mere fact there are so many possible outcomes that a system can't be fine tuned to produce consistent straights but just might do well with boxes.

Using a wheel for mega and power ball might produce a winner if you clock all the right numbers for a draw and get lucky with the money ball. Use the same wheelin... [ More ]

Actually if a system uses a computer to pick numbers then it's using a set of instructions. The problem is people don't want to discuss or share the instructions they've created for their computers to pick their lottery numbers. A discussion of their methodology is seldom helpful to them and usually ends up with someone wanting a copy of their work.

I've always thought of lottery systems as a set of instructions that produce the numbers being predicted and maybe wrongly assumed a discussion forum called Lottery Systems was intended to discuss the instructions. I've nothing against predictions but would rather see the methodology than just see that if I had wagered $104,000 on those predictions, I could have got back $60,000.

What do you expect if no one here is actually winning big money playing the lotteries? And if there was, would you expect them to spend time here trying to teach others to do the same when people who have never won anything are making money writing and selling books and systems for lottery players?

At least at LP when someone says something might works, you can look up their prediction statistics to see if it's working for them. Other websites, you only have their word for it.

I believe playing this way is very scary, we play once a year the El Gordo (the fat one) in Spain, but we have immediate family there, and I know where they live. We also receive the tickets before the draw, maybe I'll post a couple, from prior drawings they are actually pretty neat looking. LOL jarasan

Are you sure you've learned something new? I've heard of international lottery clubs taking lottery players money but I've never heard of any one ever winning anything with them.

If you ever win anything playing that way, you'll be the first as far as I know. Handing someone $13.75 a week to save $386.75 is not really saving if after a while you don't see any money but it's better than losing $400 a week. Good luck to you.

i agree i don't think you can be tought to win but i also appreciate all the valuable input i love the way i play now i am guaranteed one number in each draw im in which is three a week. and because i am in it with other members even when we share the prize we lessen the cost and i play over 124 games a week for $13.75 if played the other way the cost would be over $400. realistically its a game of chance its great because anyone can play in most countries

All you have to do is study the published works of all the lotto authors with an open mind, discard the charlatans as you read/study/sift through, look for documented evidence of patterns and strategies that have more likely won than others, trust your gut, and practice.

If you do that, you will have taught yourself with the help of people who discovered truths they want to pass on to you, without being marred or tarred by others who have yet to put their money where their mouths are!
