Nothing Like Summertime in the South Baby..I will also take the Baseball reply...GO BRAVES..tighten yalls ass up dangit..Spring and Summer are my fav;s...You Northern people can keep that damn cold air, once it gets below 75 my ass is cold....LOL..I saw a comedian on TV the other nite talking about how cold it was..and the Budget..lol..he suggested as a public works project to build a huge wall all the way down the Canadian border..because that is where the cold air comes from..lol

When you're a kid summer means no school, so that's

when an adult, especially in some parts of the country, summer means:

bugs

humidity

the smell of mildew

your clothes always being soaked and sticking to you

air that you wear

snakes in the road

everybody just walking around in slo-mo and lollygagging

TV reruns

and many, many more irritants

as others have commented, give me fall. Things come back to life, the weather is brisk, and you feel alive again.

When I lived in New England summer meant

days at the beach picnics

trips to the amusement park

dashing around the sprinkler

mosquitos

I live in Southwest Florida now and summer means

off-season layoffs

torrential rain 100% humidity

hurricane warnings power outages

mosquitos

Well, at least somethings stay the same
