Excel is the application, you would be creating a worksheet or spreadsheet, specifically with your formulae and formatting of data input and results. Excel provides for a myriad of functionality for manipulation and analyzing data.

Thank you for the reply. After reading your post, I decide that application like excel should do the job. However I am ignorant of writing applications to excel.

Lets go back to what Dave did in Excel, that was good. if you look in the first set of data, you will see the 4 winning numbers out of 35 numbers total.

And look at the second set of results you will see the 3 winning numbers that did not come in the first set. However it is 3 out of 40 numbers, negative numb... [ More ]

Mr. Redtoad,

I don't think anyone is scared. The approach you are proposing here I believe is more in need of an algorithm run in something like Dave did in Excel which has the ability to create formulas to plug numbers into.

A program for PC's usually refers to an application of some sort like Word, Frontpage, Access, I-Tunes, and Photoshop for eg.. A program in computational science refers to a set of instructions in some programming language to achieve some kind of output with s... [ More ]

He certainly made an effort, which was exciteing, but it was only the tip of the iceberg.

This is in reference to your previous post under Red Toad, I have made an Excel program based upon the method you have provided. See attached snapshot of the computation. Since I'm here in texas I generated the numbers from 1-54 patterned after the Texas Lotto as an example only.

e.g. previous draw you provided = 3 16 18 24 31 36

next draw result = 4 7 8 22 29 47

What's your feedback on this?

Here is my secret.

To nite's drawing was 4, 7, 8, 22, 29, 47.

So the last drawing of 3, 16, 18, 24, 31, 36--multiplied by 1.618 and devided by 1.618 we get:

4.85, 25.89, 29.12, 38.83, 50.1, 58.25

1.85, 9.88, 11.12, 14.83, 19.16, 22.25

Companion numbers are 1, 3, 5, 24.

So here it is:-

4===4.85=5=5-1==5

7===9.88=10=10-3==7

8===4.85=5=5+3==8

22===22.25==22

29===29.12==29
