well here is the constitution as outlined :

Almost every country in the world has tax-free lottery jackpots. Japan, Europe, Canada, etc. Only the US with our idiot congress doesn't have this.

There is some problems , in Brazil the jackpot is paid for the winners. The only extra tax that there is is the CPMF 0,38% over all financial operations ...

The main problem is that the money is not re-passed to the hospitals or medical programs. Example , the Brazilian govern is not paying the U.S.A. for the drugs against H.I.V.

Tax for (most if not) all operations in the Banks.

And I think that Double Taxation is ILLEGAL...

Yah Hoo for the couple in NH. What would the Government do if all rebuked to pay their taxes? sentence everyone to 63 months in prison? It was good to hear that someone finally had the intestinal fortitude to tell them to go F--- themselves.

As for all you nay sayers the 16th amendment was never ratified by all the states....

The GameGrl wites: If anyone did an econ class they would understand that a flat tax of 7% by every LEGAL citizen of the USA would be enough to run the govt and state programs. Problem is, we dont tax illegal immigrants yet we reward them with our federal and state funded programs. Illegle immigrants dont pay federal/state income tax since they dont carry a soc sec #. To anyone who dis-believe this, prove it.

You can Prove the 16th Amendment was ratified by producing the signed bills of Ratification from every State, Secretary of State Philander Knox reported as ratifying the 16th. You can start with Kentucky.

Gosh KFloyd, I read your small snippet and realized that IN NO WAY is our government that simple in its terminology. So I did some research. SirBrad comes closes to the truth in his research response.

To those who live here in America, pay if ya want, or dont. There is NO Law on federal income collection. Listen, there should be a flat tax, period.

Tax you - tax me - tax everyone at 28% and leave it at that.

I don't know about any of you, but if I can't afford something, I skip it, or buy it cheaper.

But not the Gov't - they seem to be incapable of cutting back any of THEIR OWN benefits.

And then we have this so-called 'war' that we are spending about 800 million a day on........

Well I think the news says they are doing it for us, they are standing up for their rights.

They are asking anyone to show them the law, where it says that you have to pay Federal taxes on your daily labour, or earned income for work done.

I think they are offering a $1,000,000. to any one who can show them the law.

So far no takers, because there is no such law.

I agree, but the 2 things Paris Hilton and I have in common (probably the only 2) are that I'm blonde and I would have a nervous breakdown in prison.

BTW, does this have anything to do with the couple in NH who got sentenced to 63 months in prison recently? They are still refusing to surrender themselves to authorities. Well in way it is moot, because of ignorance on the part of both Employers and Employees.

But people are becoming more informed now-thanks to the internet.

I will say this, the Federal Income tax is illegal, it is really a collection agency for the bankers that own the Federal Reserve.
