winners that the retailer can cash and tickets that haven't been drawn yet go in my wallet.... biggest one so far was $500

Big jackpot winner will be copied on both sides after signing and taken the very next business day to the lottery HQ... so far I have yet to need this, but it's nice to have a plan

Losers get trashed... I don't need to know how much I have spent over time, that would take the fun out of the games.

I usaully stick my tickets somewhere I cannot find them. Since I usually lose them, I purchase them 10 to 15 minutes before the drawing.

At first in my wallet which as a piece of paper that says Millions of Dollars Positive Cash Flow Increase then they are moved to a sandlewood Box That has a photo of my wife and I and a piece of paper that says Millions of Dollars Positive Cash Flow Increase and another that says Winning Ticket! and one that says Winning Tickets! and a small green stone with the word Abundance on it in a little purple pouch.

This question has been asked before. I'm terrible at searching. Maybe someone else can find the threads.

99% of the time I keep them in the plastic lottery sleeve and put it on my desk next to the computer when I get home. I put the tickets in between the cards before I place it in my pocketbook so they don't get lost.

If I buy a QP then I usually place it in a small zipper compartment in my pocketbook until I get home and then I'll just add it to the rest of the tickets until I check... [ More ]

Most of the time, in my purse. But the larger Jackpot tickets are placed in a small file box on my desk that hold the recepts for winning tickets that I have cashed in. In hope that the recepts will generate a win on the ticket that has not yet played. HaHaHa....... sounds crazy, doesn't it.

I know people save tickets in case they win big, and deduct the losses from the taxes owed. I just can't imagine myself winning 20 million after taxes, one lump, and worring about a lousy 2 to 3 thousand in one year's accumulation of losing tickets.

What if you don't win 20 million or so, but something just enough to be reportable? Wouldn't you want to write the losers off against that

I keep mine on my desk right next to my computer under a pile of lucky pennies. You know, the ones you find in the parking lot, heads up, right before or right after you buy your ticket and you just know that this time, this penny is the key to having the winning ticket. lol

I keep all the winning tickets in the pockets of strangers I have never met. I only track the losing tickets. Cool part is, I don't have to pay taxes on the winning ones.

July 10th is 8 year wedding anniversary for me...I am still in shock that someone has tolerated me that long. May you have sympathy for my poor wife.

On a knick-knack shelf, under a Lucky Leprechuan , at least two of those cut this out and keep your ticlets on it lucky things (triangle and a Blue Coyote right now) from the tabloids.

Where do you keep your lottery tickets? I keep mine in my wallet so I don't lose it since I'm less likely to lose or forget about it.
