It may be different depending upon the individual states. In Wisconsin for Pick 3 and Pick 4, once the lottery has a liability of 3 million dollars that they would have to pay if that number hit, then they no longer will allow any purchases of that number.

Different states will have diffferent cap limits on the dollar payout for the pick 3 and 4.

Check with your state lottery and they may tell you.

I think N.Y. has a cap of 5 million dollars.

SC sold out 7770 as early as Friday night around 7:00pm. SC hasn't played trips since August 06.

I was lucky enough to purchase 5 770 pick 3 tickets early this mouring...
