that was very easy thanks to your great Instructions. Usually when I do something like this I get it all goofed up because I'm not to good on my computer. This worked great, though.

It would be best if you would post a link to the page at download.com (or wherever it is) in your blog. Just don't upload software to LP, because that may break the software license.

Firefox 2.x Browser

How to clear your cache:

-click on tools click on options in the menu

-in the private data, click settings

-put a check in cache.

Now it is ready to clear your cache when click on clear your private data under tools menu bar.

Here's how to clear your cache with Firefox 2.x browser:

- Choose Clear Private Data... from the Tools menu

- In the box that pops up, make sure Cache has a checkmark next to it.

- Make sure Cookies does NOT have a checkmark next to it, or you will get logged out from Lottery Post.

- Click the Clear Private Data Now button.

I did another huge round of upgrades today (Sunday), so I'd highly recommend clearing your cache once again.

A shortcut, if you experience a script error on a page, is to simply hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard as you press the F5 (or Refresh) button.

I have this cool, free tool called Be Clean . It does a whole host of cleaning in about 90 seconds.

It cleans the registry, internet cache, history,temp files, start menu, desktop,recycle bin, and others. It leaves the cookies alone.

One thing people with Internet Explorer may want to check with Intenet Explorer open :

Tools_Internet Options _ General_ Temporary Internet Files_ Settings_ Check for newer versions of stored pages: make sure automatically is checked.

If never is checked you definitely need to clear your cache.

Page load times are a very tricky thing to tweak. It is a delicate balance between lots of functionality and something that downloads quickly. And there are infinite techniques that a developer can try to cheat the amount of time it takes to download a page.

My goal is one of continual improvement. I am making small changes to the code all the time. Those changes happen on my development environment, not on the live site, so when I do an update like this, you may be seeing changes that

What a painful upgrade I have been going through today!

I'm sure that with all the instability of the site, you all are experiencing a bit of that pain, so you have my apologies for the issues.

I think things may have gotten stable enough that I can take a break and remind everyone to clear their web browser cache.

There is a lot of new code (and code changes) that I implemented today, so if you don't clear your browser cache, your web browser may get confused -- by looking at both new... [ More ]
