Write complaints to your attorney general, your congressmen and senators, the FBI (Ha! good luck with that one), your local newspaper editors, Dolly Parton and anyone else you can think of.

Excellent point, Uncle Jim, and thanks for catching that glaring oversight.

The figures, no matter how one juggles them, just don't add up at the Hoosier Lottery, and I believe that's one reason they're so secretive about their sales data; giving up that information would pretty much seal their coffins.

I know exactly what you mean. I've been watching here in WI as well since we went to CGN (a.k.a. RNG). Very Interesting!!

Well RJ...that's not a fix per se. Frankly, that strikes me as incompetance on the part of the Ohio Lottery. What I'm talking about is a situation similar to the one we have here in Indiana where a hugely disproportionate number of winners come from Indianapolis/Marion County (the state capital and the home of the Hoosier Lottery).

Years ago the Ohio Lottery held a 2nd chance drawings, people thought it was a scam too but most of the winners worked for the Cleveland central post office. The lottery folks in Cleveland where the drawings were held assumed the mail bags got mixed real good in shipment and took most of the winning envelopes off the top of each bag. The postal workers made sure thier entries was on top in each bag and won a disproportionate of the prizes.

You forgot one key piece of the puzzle. Look for a disproportionate number of winners to come from one key geographic area...most probably the state capital.

I'm surprised any state televises a computerized drawing. What is there to see? (they don't show those here, so I've never seen one) Plus, by not televising, they save six-figure expenses per year. And its not like anyone who wants to play can go elsewhere.....much like Cable TV and the Electric company here. Monopolies. And monopolies are not good, IMO.

Watching that I felt like I was at the casino playing the fake automated roulette or the keno machine. Somehow you always feel they deliberatly pick the numbers around YOUR chosen numbers.

the voice over also doesnt say the date so it is definitely prerecorded because they used to give us the date on the live drawings so we wouldnt think it was fixed but of course now they could careless if we think the games are fixed they feel like they will continue to make money anyway.

Perhaps it is the video-stream, but it seemed to me that for the last digit of the cash 4 draw, being 8, that woman said 8 before it even showed up...

Even if this is recorded and the sound was added later on, it is a terrible job done, and will make many people suspicious...

Has anyone compared the payout information since they went to this exciting new procedure? I'd be interested in seeing that information.

I sincerely hope that all of you from Tennessee have stopped buying tickets. And I sincerely hope you are telling everyone you know about this and encouraging them to stop as well. I'm not sure how much if any good it will do but it is the only way to get their attention. Hit them where it counts!

Reminds me of an old TV series where the guy would get Tomorrow's Newspaper a day early and because of such, could prevent something bad from happening.

Well, in one episode, it was regarding a computerized lottery that had been rigged by corrupt officials, that to insure that the pot would be returned to the state after so many games without a winner, they would make sure that the numbers drawn would NEVER match a winning ticket. Interesting. So Tennessee's first computerized drawing produced something that happens only 1% of the time in a typical lottery game. Hmm...

Someone mentioned how they think some senator's son will win right away. I tend to think the opposite. I think they'll hold off on winners more so the JP will grow larger. Is this one of the ways they'll do it

Ohio Rolling Cash5 uses balls in its live drawings and so far 11 of its 888 drawings had 4 of the 5 numbers in the 30's.
