Yeah, you don't see the top three finishers all paying only $2.10 too often.

But I'm PO'ed at Pino's riding of Hard Spun...Once again for three times in a row he has rated this horse during the race when he should have let him go. His connections took Pino off the horse for the Belmont because of his poor riding in the Derby and Preakness and he comes back and does the exact same thing in this race. Hard Spun's connections must be pulling their hair out.

I asked my BF about this race. He said he has had some good wins today at Monmouth, but he is not betting this race. He said that IF he were going to bet this race, he would bet heavy ($100) on #1 On Any Given Saturday (I think that was the name!) to SHOW.

Brit

Carded as the 13th race, # 7 Hard Spun (5/2) faces his Triple Crown nemesis, # 6 Curlin (1/1). Once again I'm going with Hard Spun although a great deal depends on his jockey, Pino, who blew his assignment in the Derby and Preakness. If Pino lets his horse run the way he likes to, they should end up in the Winner's Circle.

Price plays for the exacta:

Hard Spun on top with # 8 Xchanger (20/1) and # 3 Stormello (15/1) in the second spot.

Good luck
