I wasn't aware of the boxed combinations and the no filtering selections. That worked.

Thanks Hypersonic...but does your combinations eliminate boxed plays. I only need the list of numbers for each occurence of 3 different numbers. It doesn't matter what order.

Go To: Deflate 3 - Pick 3 Number Reduction System

Do Not Enter Any Numbers in the Data Entry Box.

Click: Deflate all boxed number combinations minus the numbers in the box below

Click: Deflate Numbers

Results: All 220 Pick 3 Boxed Combinations

720 (all 10 in the first position, 9 remaining in 2nd position and 8 remaining in 3rd position 10x9x8=720)

Help! I'm working on a project and I need to know how many different Pick 3 numbers there are. I know that there are 1000 different combinations for the numbers 000 thru 999 but I need a formula to eliminate duplicate sets of numbers. Or you could just tell me how many there are
