Thanks Just6ntlc.I can get the combinations sorted out but its still hard to pick combinations to play out of 200,000 generated combos.So far I have had no luck picking the right combonations but my generated combinations file have had 5-15 5 out of 6 hits for all three past lottery drawings.Anyway Good luck to you as well in lottery playing

I appreciate it Steve I actually figured it out about an hour after I replied to your first response.I was able to get all the numbers to be sorted by the first number and the last number too.

Ahh!! Ok

Well first of all Excel only has 65,000 plus rows (not sure about 2007 Excel version)

Just highlight the 5 or 6 number group at the very top of the columns by holding down your left mouse button and drag as many columns that you want sorted.

When you have you columns highlighted just go to the main menu and choose

Data>Sort

A window will open where you can sort by whatever cell row you want. To the right you can select ascending (low to high) or descending (high to low... [ More ]

Try Big Al's Lotto Software Demo to generate combinations.

Sent you a PM with the link.

Program will generate all the combinations for whatever lottery you play.

It willl save the combinations to a text file by 1st number sequence.

Copy and paste into Excel.

I'm working on a strategy for my lotto 6 game and I need a little help.I have a 200,000 combination file that I generated I want to be able to sort it out.I opened it in excel but I want to be able to sort it so that all the combinations beginning with a 1 are together, all the numbers beginning in 2 are together and so on like

1,2,3,4,5,6

1,15,17,23,34,46

2,4,26,32,37,45

after that I wanted to be able to sort the file even further and group together combinations that end with the s... [ More ]
