wow 45 minutes on backup server? i guess i'm on flintstone-age in backup server technology. LOL

last time i know it takes 24 hours using tape backup :(( and now it take only 45 minutes

Couldn't get my 'Forum' bookmark to load on my usual Yahoo so I tried IE but no luck there either.

Got in on the mainpage and went from there using forums drop down.

Hoping all goes well.

It seems I am doomed to suffer crashing servers lately. Yet another evening ruined by a server that blue-screens when it tries to boot.

The fact that you are reading this right now is thanks to the last all-nighter caused by the web server crashing, when I had to hobble together a backup server to run the site. That's why there was only about 45 minutes of downtime. I was able to update the backup server with the lastest site changes, transfer the IP settings, and bring the backup server o... [ More ]
