My ideas have to do with filtering and with skips, but as TLC and other states might have Big Eyes and Ears like the WOLF, it might be best to not post too much about such things, maybe better to just post the predictions and see how they do and try to do better little by little, I posted way too much about pick 3 filters, I don't want to spoil the new pick 4 game.

But pairs' patterns and their skips might provide some filtration, also we need to take the single digits into account... [ More ]

Lantern, I agree with the pairs to start. It should be easy money with a strategy plan in motion. A friend say she will get her first qp and run it until it comes. That is one way of doing it but if that qp doesn't come for a year then one has a lost. We will work on this.

Any others out there have ideas

Yes, playing the sums might not be of much use, but all the pairs pay the same amount.

We will have to keep track of the pairs and their patterns.

Don't worry too much, if the Texans here at LP cooperate we might do OK.

It is best to wait for some past draws history, then we will see, what can be done if anything.

I want to try the pairs first, before the pick 4 numbers themselves.

Sums 15,16,17,18,19,20 and 21 will only pay $3 or $4 by TLC for Tx. Looks like they(TLC) have already done their homework and know the statistics !! Thanks for the good information

If the sum up is what I think it is, the sum total of the 4 digits drawn, then yes, this is a good bet once at least 60 days of data is available. Then you can see the trends. The Pick 4 sums will fall between 0 (0000) and 36 (9999) and statistically the sums 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 wil be picking up most of the hits. So I have been looking over the new pick 4 coming to Texas at the end of the month. The one thing I am confused about is the option called sum up. I understand how it works but is this kind of bet really worth it? Also, are the strategies for pick 4 similar to pick 3? I am excited to learn and start playing a new game
