Well, durn! I was hoping the article was the real McCoy. As I deal with pattern and relationships of those patterns, I had high hopes of increasing my knowledge.

So it was a joke, huh? Well, I don't think messing with my lottory is comic material. And I will wager a $1 dollar Lotto 5 ticket that Jack Whitaker agrees with me.

I believe that Maxim did put out a joke article about cheating at state lotteries. That may be what you were thinking about. Try the April 1 issue.

Sometimes you can find online, an index of topics for a magazine by month and year. Start there.

If you live near a library, find one of the older librarians and ask about back issues of the magazine. They may have the physical mag, or have put it on microfilm (or whatever it's called anymore) to save space.

First let me say hello to everyone this is my first post but i have read most of the meaningful posts in this category.

What I have to as starts from something that happened back in 2001-2002 i think.
