AGF - No worries, this number has eluded me before when I had a clue Some days are diamonds......

Now, it turns out I have an apology of my own. Made the effort today to speak the fact that I had 426 as a QP, but failed to post here because I had to be out of town for family legal thing.

Chippie - Very interesting! Thank you for taking the time to post this. Wonderfully informative post.

Some further insight - While I do own a solid black cat (I pretty much have the spectrum covered), this was not my cat. While there was a feeling of concern on my part, there was absolutely no fright, panic, foreboding, danger aura, on my part or that of the cat. It was almost as if the injury was to get my attention. I was outside with at least 1 other person who started gesturing that I needed to look around.

Behind me was a very large black short-haired domestic cat that was injured, bleeding but very, very friendly and seemed to be following me. We appeared to be on a country road.

I never was able to touch the cat even though I made every effort to get to him in order to help him.
