I would not be so confident. Politicians care much more about staying in power than they do about meeting an education goal, so if a shutdown enhances their personal power they would do it every time. Of course there are some politicians who I wouldn't be so cynical about, but they are more rare, IMHO.

Michigan needs the lottrey, the lottrey do not need Mi. According to the lottrey commissioner 688

million went to Mi schools. Never Panic about lottrey being shut down.

From what I understand they are still going to hold all the drawings. So if you have an advance ticket for Mon or Tues draws they will still have them you just won't be able to buy tickets on those days. So if you want to stay in for the draws buy a couple tickets with multi draws on them.

They will resume as soon as the state starts up again. You will still recieve all the draws you have left. The computers are very very capable of taking care of that. Be very interesting if one of us hit the 4 digit tonight or any game you cant be paid out on for $500 or less, cant cash the ticket until the state starts back up. Oh well if i hit all 5 in the fantasy will be worth waiting for. Good luck to all.

Well our state hasn't agreed on a budget for the fiscal year starting Monday. Without one the governor has said she will suspend non essential government services. Ummm sounds like New Jersey last summer hey. Well this includes the Michigan Lottery. If they don't agree tomorrow they start pulling all tickets.
