Hi this is the break down of the merry millions in MD the 1st number is the prize the 2nd number is the amount of prizes and the 3rd number is the amount of tickets remaining. This info will change daily as they sell tickets.

The odds are seriously stacked against most players winning as they probably printed 20 million or more tickets. Winning any of the upper tier prizes will depend on whether or not you happened to buy a winner on that lucky day. ( being in the right place at the right tim... [ More ]

...I find that in GA, new tickets win more in the first few weeks they are out. That's becasue more tickets are sold in the first few weeks they are out. If the sales held steady, so would the frequency of having a winning experience.

If I win $20 or more on a ticket, i do not but that same ticket in that store that day, but will try another ticket using some of my winnings. That's wise.

100% wrong! Games are programmed to spread the winnings thoroughout the game. Your chance of getting a top prize are as good at the back end of a game as they are in the front. How do I know? I write those prize structures for a living.

I don't usually play scratch-offs. When I do, which is rare. I usually only buy one or two at a time.

I rarely play instant games but when I do, I choose the games that are just released specially with the new holiday games now. Just because the top prizes are there.. with the older games some of them prizes have been hit so generally you should not buy a game thats been out a year...by the way most states tell you on their websites the number of top prizes left for each instant game..one should check it out and then pick accordingly depending on what's left....Oh I tried 6 $2 scratchers today w... Wonder if we have any psychiatrists on the board- I've often wonderd if a study of scratcher sales was done if it would show that those with Type A personalities are more prone to buy scratchers -

I want to know right now as oppossed to waiting for the drawing.

I rarely buy them. I'd rather buy a ticket and wait several hours or days for the drawing. That way I lose my money a lot slower.

I stop myself after five losers.I used to buy as many as needed to get a winner,but one time I bought 25 $2 tickets in a row and on the 25th ticket I finally one $2.I seldom buy scratch off tickets anymore.

Does any one else's state put the winners in the beginning?? When NY gets a new SO most of the bigger winners take place in the first 2 weeks, then only a couple of wins after that
