How did you do your calculations? The overall odds of one ticket winning something are 1:37 so buying 42 tickets with all 42 PB numbers only guarantees that one ticket will have the winning PB number which is at least 37 time better than buying only one ticket but that's a long way from improving your chances by 100 millions or so.

The game sold $2,821,073,017 in FY06 (July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006).

The game sold $2,503,651,244 in FY07.

I could create a report for the monthly sales, but it is pretty much worthless since sales depend on the jackpot amount. You might as well divide by 12.

we know not everyone bought one ticket.

so people that bought bought many.

im going to buy 42 because it increases my chances of winning by 100 million or so.
