You can have all the most rudimentary 'systems' in the world - and one day that 'system' may work.

All it takes is luck.

You can also have NO 'system' and win - and THEN find a way to jam those winning numbers into some sort of system you can attribute winning to. How many racers win races, and have decals on the side of their car for a product - but do not use that product ? TONS. Same deal here.

The powerball site says he won with numbers he'd been playing for years. Sorry, I still can't post links in these forums, so you'll have to find it yourself.

IIRC he told CBS in an interview right after he won the same thing. It wasn't till some time later he started saying he had used a system.

I've never heard of anyone winning a PB or MM jackpot more than once with any system.

In the article I read he said he used a number system that he designed that not only picked his jackpot winning numbers but picked another line that also won a nice prize for the same drawing. Why would anyone pay him to say that? And who would even care if that's the only time it ever worked for him

Something about Brad Duke must have twanged you off to make this your first post. I, too DO NOT AGREE that he was entirely truthful in his press. He claims to be making this money for his extended family. . .if so--why didn't he make them minority partners in the winning ticket--of course. . .then he couldn't control the allocation of the money.

Just an FYI, the guy who was in the CNN Money article (golds gym manager) that claimed to use a number system to win the lottery was paid to say so.
