Well, Lukin I don't believe I would continue to play it's just too much greed in that! I'd like to see someone else get a piece of the action. Besides I'd be too busy trying to watch over my $75Mil

So much to do so little time!!! But wouldn't it be nice to have that problem

In the immediate future I would quit playing. I think after winning that much I'd be focused on what I'm going to do with the money; going out and picking up more tickets would be the last thing on my mind. I think after the thrill had been subsided and the money spent or allotted, I'd probably start playing just the same as I had been.

Well, I thought maybe the reason we were seeing so many multiple prize winners is because they were increasing their play after they won the first largish amount. But according to the poll, the denizens of this board haven't/wouldn't increase their play.

So what gives? Are the peeps who win multiple times just lucky

10,000 isnt alot of money and ive gone threw it in a week a few times. but i still play the same, $20 or more straight on a 3 digit and 2 dollars straight on 2 other possible ways of the original number. i dont play boxed its either i hit or i miss.

I would think that the increase in the number of lottery games with those type of jackpots has really increased in the last 5 years or so. I remember when there were only a few scratch off games, and once a day number draws,,,now they cover the week...anyway,,,I would not increase my play, I would just merely continue what i was doing,,,,after all if I one once playing the way I do why change it....

Couldn't agree more. Although it would come in handy 10Grand would be a drop in the bucket as far as the big picture goes. Right now I could use about $200,000, and that's just to get me started.

I would switch to other games. Like in computer game: level 1 completed; level 2 begins.

I wouldn't spend my winnings to buy extra tickets.

10Grand isn't anything to change anyone's life over.

One's goal should be not to let your account go below 10 Grand at any one time. You never know when you might need a pick'me up ... You never know what one's life will deal..

6 months or more of your salary should be kept on reserve... JUST IN CASE...

I won $10,000 two years ago and spent it in a week. $10,000 sounds like a lot when you tell people, but really it isn't. After paying bills and having some fun, I was sad to see my fun account had about $1800 left. I am still playing daily keno the same...still playing the 7 numbers I hit on. When I win it next time, i will be a little more frugal with it.

I hope I would always just continue to play the same. If I won $10,000 I might buy a few more quick picks from time to time, but I wouldn't want to blow it on more games. I'd pay off bills. That's why the casinos are so profitable. In all the excitement, people just keep playing until there are no more chips or quarters. (been there/done that

With the spate of news articles about multiple jackpot winners, I started wondering if people win multiple times because they're unusually lucky, or because the first win changes how they play?

If you won a small/moderate jackpot, like $10,000 or $25,000, would you feel like maybe your luck was used up and quit wasting money on the lottery and put your winnings toward something concrete? Or would you continue to play normally, or perhaps even play even more since you have some extra mone... [ More ]
