In our system, this might have been grounds for removal and at least a written reprimand. Teachers are not able to post things in public forums that point directly or indirectly to their students.

Also, federal law prohibits making any information about a child with disabilities public.

I remember when the evening news showed people gambling with the $2,000 debit card they got after Katrina. I also remember a woman who lost everything and slept in the Astrodome and got a job as a nurse's aid in Houston. She used the money to put a deposit on an apartment and start a new life.

I also believe that harsh name calling is not the answer to this problem. I have to agree that the names called were uncalled for especially coming from the mouth of a teach of special need persons.

Last month someone broke into the local Salvation Army warehouse in Fort Myers and stole all the toys. Fortunately, local businesses have had fundraisers which have been a great help.

When I grow up I want to be just like Hilliary and Oprah. But I don't want to look like either one of them though, I want to look like me. One of them have ultimate confidence and success that intimidates weak men and haters and the other one got the money and the midas touch.
