If I play anything QP I go to Stores whose RNGs have produced winners.. often after a store has a big win if it's not too far away I give them a visit. The farthest I have ever visited a store was the C L Super Serve in Hurricane, WV. I won a Pick 4 BOX that day but NOT from there, it was in RG's in Keyser who maybe never had a big winner. Since I usually play my own selection of numbers, playing at a store that was lucky would have no impact on my luck. I most frequently play at small mom and pop stores usually in my own small town, so that should I win big, the owners would also benefit.

I voted no, but I buy my tics at the same c-store because I like the people that own it. They know how to run the machine, and if I ever hit big I would like them to benefit.

She actually had a run of good luck recently with pick 3 and scratch offs.

I have done some research on this one. As it turns out for Mega Millions in the state of Virginia, the winners come from the following places:

1) Any 7-11 down Jeff Davis Highway. Most popular.

2) Falls Church

3) Richmond

4) Alexandria

5) Arlington

Now, all these places are too far for me to drive everytime I want a ticket for Mega Millions. And even with proof in my hand, I can't convince my husband to take the drive. Even when won in other places, they were purchased... [ More ]

Our lottery is having a holiday raffle and last week I asked the clerk if she was feeling lucky. She said sure so I asked for a raffle ticket and she asked me when to hit the send button. Every 100 tickets is an instant $100 winner and the machine plays You're in the money if you win. I didn't have an instant winner but the clerk told me that's because I probably will win $1 million.

I don't know if I'll be lucky or not, but I had fun buying the ticket.

In the past I had a couple of favorite places but never won anything substantial, so now I just get my tickets where the voices tell me to.

Yes, I have in the past walked into a gas station and dropped $150.00 like I'm lookin at ya and get 13 replays, What am I sposed to do with that? Or maybe a Von's supermarket with a similar amount and not even get a bonus number, and I didnt think that were possible, or finally walk into a store with $5.00 and get 4 out of six, so it's their that I now play consistently. I like to buy at the same store, not so much for supersticious reasons, but I figure if I win, I want those retailers to benefit from my win.

When the Powerball jackpot was high last summer, I made a special trip to the Jackson's on Orchard (near the freeway) where 2 or 3 winning tickets have been sold. But then I didn't win and decided it wasn't worth it so I buy 99% of my tickets at places I pass while out walking.

I buy in my favorite store. Though it doesn't seem to be lucky... And it is actually 2 stores.

I just go there because they know how to use the machine and sale is just few seconds.

Most of the time I pick my own numbers, so my answer is no. For a while I stopped going to the Publix up the street because there were too many mistakes. What I mean is that the terminal would print an extra set of numbers on my ticket or my numbers would be wrong and once I asked for 2 quick picks and got 3. I'm a little superstitious have a habit of always paying for the mistakes, so I try to stay away from stores where this happens. They told me they had the terminal serviced and it's bee... [ More ]

Everyone probably has places they feel are lucky or unlucky.

I really suggest subscribing to your state lottery's e-mail list of winners and seeing where they are bought.

I'll say this, in Illinois at least it's not grocery stores.

I buy my tickets at 4 or 5 different stores and two of them have had winners. Although, the amount was small, $5,000 and $25,000, I really don't see those places being luckier then the any others. So, it doesn't stop me from shopping at non-winning stores. What do you think
