That is what I do, as I do not leave my money in my paypal account long. I generally transfer it to my bank.

I got a free checking account at my bank (opened with $7.50) and verified that ;-)

You can also use a credit/debit card to load funds to paypal... or to make a direct payment to someone. (shields your card info)

I don't see western union in their FAQ database...

PayPal does not utilize any other funding method such as Western Union.
